Viking Helmet Review
Project for today is viking helmet review. Similar to the viking helmet that we made a couple of projects ago except this helmet I want horns on the side like the standard helmet plus a mo-hawk of horns down the middle. This is, in my opinion easier than the lamp model we did a couple of weeks ago.You can make the style of helmet and horns any style that you would like. Here are 3 links for help. Your challenge for today is to do this on your own without my help. I will help you next class and show you the quickest way to do this.
Hints: start with a cube and a "spherify" modifier. Remember we used symmetry modifier, so you only need to model one half of the helmet. Then add the horns down the middle. Use a line from "shapes" to create the shape of the horns and then use extrude from line in the polygon sub-object mode.
Here are some images of different styles of helmets and below that are link videos if you need help. Remember I am challenging you to do this on your own today without my help.

Junk Robot Project
We get four classes to complete this project. To build a robot out of common household junk. anything that you would expect to find laying around the house, basement or garage. The robot must include separate objects for the head, torso, hips, arms, legs and feet. So that means at least six separate pieces for the anatomy. This project is worth 200 points and will be mainly graded on creativity and whether or not it is turned in on time. You can google "junk robot" or google "junk" for examples of what you can use.
We are going to animate the robots doing this dance..... here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjgRmEmlaFs

Hand Model or Toothbrush Model
So here is the links for what we are doing next. . . . .If you haven't turned in your lamp rig then you can stay office hours and finish it up or with any free time that you have in this class otherwise turn it in late or unfinished. You have the option of choosing between these two tutorials to work on. They both take about the same amount of time and are nearly equal in difficulty.
First is the hand tutorial. You will need this hand photo as well. Copy and paste this link below and we will start.
